Local Planning & Zoning Assistance

The Saginaw County Administrator’s Office receives and reviews proposed zoning ordinance changes and master plans for all municipalities in Saginaw County. This is in accordance with Michigan’s Zoning Enabling Act (PA 110 of 2006).

Saginaw County does not have a Planning and Zoning Department. If you have questions about planning and zoning, please contact the municipality where your property address is located. You can use http://www.sagagis.org/ to look up your property address to determine which municipality your property is in.

Materials Management Planning (formerly Solid Waste Management Planning)

As required by law staff serves as the Designated Planning Agency for the Materials Management Planning Committee.
